Microsurfacing of NJ Route 94, U.S. Route 46 to Old Coach Road

The New Jersey Department of Transportation commissioned KMA to provide general engineering services for this roadway resurfacing project, which entailed application of slurry seal on NJ Route 94, fog seal on the shoulders, drainage inlet repairs and upgrades, replacement of raised pavement markers (RPM) lenses, and striping.  The project limits consisted of approximately twenty miles of NJ Route 94 from U.S. Route 46 in western Warren County to Old Coach Road in Hardystown Township, Sussex County.

As part of general engineering services, KMA performed aerial surveying and mapping and prepared non-conventional plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) on an accelerated schedule and within budget.

Work was performed in accordance with the NJDOT Design Manual and CADD Standards Manual.  KMA’s role also included construction phase services.
